These Terms set out how you can use the Carvelli website and what applies when you buy from our Arts & Crafts, Classroom, Early Learning, and Cash Management collections.

Eligibility

Carvelli carries a wide mix of products, everything from early learning toys and kindergarten prep materials to classroom tools, calculators, and cash management gear, and our customers range from parents and teachers to schools and everyday shoppers. If you're buying something for a child, or on behalf of a classroom or institution, you're confirming that you're authorized to do so, and that any child using the product will be supervised by a responsible adult in line with the age guidance and safety warnings printed on it.

If you're agreeing to these Terms on behalf of a school, business, or other organization, you're also confirming that you have the authority to bind that organization to them.

Products & Product Descriptions

·         We try to describe our products as accurately as we can, across our Arts & Crafts, Colours & Shapes, Writing & Tracing, Puzzles & Brain Games, Orff Musical Instruments, and other collections, including photos, dimensions, and age recommendations. A few things are worth keeping in mind, though:

·         Colours can look a little different depending on your screen.

·         Packaging, materials, or specs may change without notice.

·         We can't promise that every description on the site is complete, current, or entirely free of the odd error.

We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue a product, or fix a pricing or description error at any time, even after you've placed an order, without any liability for doing so.

Pricing & Payment

Prices on this site are listed in Canadian dollars and may change without notice.

We can refuse or cancel an order for any reason, including suspected fraud, a pricing error, or an item that's out of stock.

Payment is due in full before we process and ship an order, unless we've agreed otherwise for an approved school or institutional purchase order (see Section 4).

Applicable taxes, GST, HST, or PST, depending on your province, along with any shipping charges, are calculated and shown at checkout.

School, Classroom & Bulk Orders

Given how many of our products are built with classrooms in mind, Classroom Presentation Tools, Kindergarten Preparation, and Early Learning Toys among them, we're glad to work with schools and institutions on bulk orders. If you're ordering on behalf of a school, daycare, or other educational institution:

Purchase order terms, invoicing, and tax-exempt status need to be arranged with our support team ahead of time at [support email].

Any bulk discounts are handled through a separate written agreement and won't be applied automatically at checkout.

Institutional orders sometimes ship on a different timeline than standard retail orders.

Shipping, Delivery & Fulfillment

Right now, Carvelli ships within Canada only. We don't offer international shipping at this time.

Because we work with a network of third-party suppliers and fulfillment partners to get products to your door (sometimes called a dropshipping model), a few things follow from that:

Shipping times can vary from product to product, and even between items within the same order.

If your order has a few different items in it, don't be surprised if they show up in separate shipments from different suppliers.

We're not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, or a supplier running short on stock, but we'll do our best to keep you in the loop.

Once a product is handed off to the carrier, risk of loss and title pass to you, except where Canadian law says otherwise.

Any shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

We want you to be happy with what you've bought. The following applies unless we've published a separate, more detailed Returns & Refunds Policy on the site — in that case, that policy takes precedence:

Items generally need to come back in their original, unused, resalable condition, with the original packaging, within 30 days of delivery, unless the product page says otherwise.

To start a return, email us at [support email] with your order number.

Because our products ship from third-party suppliers, some returns may need to go to a different address than our own, we'll send you those details once you get in touch.

Non-returnable items include anything personalized or custom-made (engraved calculators or custom-printed items, for example), clearance or final sale products, and anything marked non-returnable on its product page.

Cash boxes, money safes, and similar security products can only be returned unopened and unused, for obvious safety and product-integrity reasons.

Refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 business days of us or our supplier receiving and inspecting the returned item.

Return shipping is on you, unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or wasn't what you ordered.

Product Safety & Intended Use

Our products, Arts & Crafts supplies, Orff musical instruments, and puzzles and brain games among them, are meant for educational and recreational use as described on their product pages. By using them, you agree to:

Follow the age recommendations, choking hazard warnings, and safety instructions that come with the product.

Supervise kids whenever they're using a toy, craft, or instrument bought from our site.

Use calculators, expense trackers, and cash boxes only for what they're intended for — we're not liable if they're used another way.

We're not liable for injury, damage, or loss that results from improper use, a lack of supervision, or not following the safety instructions included with the product.

Intellectual Property

The Carvelli name, our logo, this website's design, our original product descriptions, and the way we've organized our categories all belong to Carvelli and are protected under copyright and trademark law. You can't reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any of it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Keep in mind that Carvelli sources its products through third-party suppliers and manufacturers, so the underlying designs, trademarks, and patents on the products themselves belong to those companies. We're not claiming ownership of the physical products — only of our site's content, branding, and presentation.

User Accounts

If you set up an account with us, you're responsible for keeping your login details private and for anything that happens under your account. If you notice any unauthorized use, let us know right away at [support email].

Prohibited Uses

When you're on our site, please don't:

·         Break any law or regulation that applies to you.

·         Give us false or misleading information, including placing fraudulent orders.

·         Try to access parts of our systems, other customers' accounts, or non-public areas of the site that you're not meant to see.

·         Use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools to pull data, pricing or product content included,  from the site without our permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law allows, Carvelli and its affiliates aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or the products you buy through it. Where a claim does hold up, our total liability is limited to whatever you paid for the product in question.

Indemnification

You agree to cover Carvelli, along with our officers, employees, and affiliates, for any claims, damages, or expenses — including legal fees, that arise from you breaking these Terms or misusing a product bought from our site.

Third-Party Links

Our site sometimes links out to third-party sites, payment processors and social media, for instance. We're not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any of those outside sites.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll post the changes on this page and update the "Last Updated" date above. If you keep using the site after a change goes live, that means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Province] and the federal laws of Canada that apply within it, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be dealt with in the courts of [Province], Canada. Nothing here limits any non-waivable consumer protection rights you may have under applicable Canadian federal or provincial law.
